Safety in Ports

 

Safety requirements for ports have been established in the Ports Act and the Maritime Safety Act and subsidiary legislation thereof. The Ports Act provides for the requirements for the provision of port services, and for water traffic safety and security requirements for port authorities and port operators, and environmental protection requirements.
